Anthony, grandma Shirley's first great grandson gave a great little talk about some of her attributes and memories of her.
All of her great grandchildren (except Grace & Madison who were sick and didn't come) sang I Am A Child Of God. A good friend, Stephen Bailey, sang Moon River (which my grandma requested that he sing at her funeral about 30 years ago :-)
Spencer & Erika put together a wonderful slide show with pictures that captured her life.
We had a most beautiful luncheon provided by the Berkeley Ward Relief Society which included my grandma's favorite food - lasagna, salad, and garlic bread, & pie...the only thing missing was Cool Whip!! :-) Thank you ladies for all your hard work and beautiful table settings.
We then went to the grave site and had a very nice dedication there by my dad. The only other graveside service that I have been too was my grandpa Bob (Shirley's husband) when I was 8 and I don't remember the dedicatory prayer. My dad did a beautiful job and I didn't know that there are certain things that need to be said and those things about keeping this sacred place safe and hallowed until the resurrection was very beautifully said.
This picture is of Grandma Shirley and Grandpa Bob's posterity...so far. The only people missing are Maureen and her two girls, Grace & Madison. She is married to my cousin, Dave. (Jacob and Chloe must have been sleeping the cars because there were there just not in this picture)

That's 2 children, 8 grandchildren, & 15 great grand children
