history
i have been doing a lot of family history research recently. i am a family history consultant in my ward and help others with researching their family lines. i have also been graced with the spirit of elijah and on some of my spare time i have been doing my own family. it is fun and interesting. my love grows for those family members that i find out about. it makes me realize how much our heavenly father loves us to send us to this world with loving families who take care of each other and who will have the opportunity to spend eternity with.

sara and adele came down from utah for a short visit. shelbie had a great time playing with adele. adele is just a few weeks younger and it is so adorable to see them together. they don't see each other very often but shelbie keeps up on her 'utah family' through family pictures on our wall. adele has taught shelbie how to scream, but that is okay cause kids are going to pick up things from each other and it is their way of learning. i love watching shelbie learn new things even if it is an act of deception. i told shelbie she had to finish her cookie before she could go onto the carpet. she was holding half of it and put her left hand on top of her right hand which was holding the cookie (looks like she was folding her arms for prayer) and headed straight for the carpet. crazy how they grow up so quickly. i love being a mom.
